80s Anya

Here's a card I made using 80s Anya from the Greeting farm. I tried to make the ribbon look like a ruffled skirt like they used to wear back then. I coloured her with copics and added stickles and buttons. The Jilibean Soup designer paper that I used for the circles is from PaperWorks Co.

DT Coordinator Call for PWCO

PaperWorks is looking for a Design Team Coordinator! If you are interested in applying check out all of the information HERE on the PaperWorks Blog.
This is a super fun team to be on and the stamps are soooooo adorable, so be sure to apply!

Tikki the Toucan

I had this designer paper with toucan’s all over it so I thought it would go well with PaperWorks own Tikki the Toucan. I used this weeks PWCO Sunday sketch and coloured Tikki with copics. I also sponged the background with the paper still in the Nestie die, which is what gave me the white strip around the edge.

Materials used:

Stamp: PWCO Tikki the Toucan

Copics: YG11, YG07, YG05, YR07, YR02, YR00, Y19, Y15, Y11

Paper Sundaes Challenge #10

Some exciting news for me today! I have officially joined the Paper Sundaes team and here is my card for this weeks challenge. This week the challenge is to create a card using the paper piecing technique. Also the sponsor for this week's challenge is :

Photobucket

Simon Says Stamps. I used this adorable Magnolia Little Bunny Tilda and paper pieced her bunny suit and bow. The only part of her that I coloured was her face.

I also made this card for our 23rd Crafty Critter challenge to make a spring card and use this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch. We were also supposed to mention who we're going to send this card to. I'll be giving this card to my sister for Easter.

The March Paper Card kit is full of so many goodies and the most adorable designer papers!! I had a lot of fun making this little accordion card. I wanted it to look like a zoo train with all of the PaperWorks animals traveling to their next location. I coloured the images with Copics and I embellished with the ribbon and buttons that come with the kit.

Materials Used

Stamps: PWCO Lucas the Lion, Gordie the Giraffe, Harriet the Hippo, Mikey the Monkey and Tikki the Toucan

Copics: YR23, Y23, Y21, Y19, Y15, Y13, E31, E29, E25, E21, E11, YG05, YG07, YG11, C5, C3, C1, C00

Cardstock, designer paper and embellishments from the March Paper Card Kit.

The 24th PaperWorks Co Sunday challenge involves using a shamrock somewhere on your card. Lucky for me I had just gotten a St. Patrick’s Day themed card kit in the mail from a card kit swap I was in over on Splitcoast Stampers. The cardstock and the adorable Zach the Basketball player are from PaperWorks of course. Now I realize that Zach is not what you’d expect to see on a St Patrick’s Day card, but while figuring out what to make for this challenge I recalled a super funny movie called “Celtic Pride” about a couple of basketball enthusiasts who wanted the Boston Celtics to win so badly that they kidnapped the star player from the opposing team. And we all know that those Celtics are Irish, so today Zach is a member of their team!

Materials:

Stamp - PWCO Zach the Basketball Player

Copics – E11, E00, E000, E19, E18, E17, E13, E97, E99, G00, G02, G05, G07, Y13, Y11

Ribbon, Cardstock, Designer Paper, Shamrock Brad

The long awaited Sweet Pea Fantasy Art Fairies and Mermaids are now in the Paper Jewels store! I did not recieve my full order yet, which is why we've sold out of a couple already, but there are more on the way shortly! I will also be adding some new ones available for pre-order so you can check those out too!

I have also added some Kaiser Pearls and Rhinestones. I figured since the store is called Paper Jewels, I should have jewels available!

Zoe and her Matching Purse

I enjoyed this weeks PaperWorks Sunday sketch so much that I used it for a card featuring cute little Zoe the Tennis player and for a matching clutch purse card. I used Basic Grey paper from the Wisteria collection. I just LOVE the smoky blues and purples of these papers, I think I'm going to have to buy more of it, because it's one of my favorite collections from Basic Grey. All supplies used are from PaperWorks Co.

Stamp: PWCO Zoe the Tennis Player

Copics: B91, B93, B95, E000, E00, E11, E25, E29, E31, V09, V15, V17, YG0000, YG01

Designer Papers: Basic Grey Wisteria Collection "Garden Patio" and "Violet"

Brads: Imaginisce Polished Pebbles "Blue Eyes"

Ribbon: Bazzill Basics 7/8" Dashed "Cream"

Zoie the Zebra for a New Baby

This weekend was Virtual Stamp Night over on Splitcoast Stampers and one of the challenges was to use loose glitter over an image. I made this card for the challenge. I had this cool designer paper kicking around in my stash and I thought it would work perfectly with PaperWorks Zoie the Zebra from the Safari Friends Collection. To make Zoie sparkle I covered her and the sentiment with Versamark and then poured embossing glitter over them and set it with my heat gun. I also made this card for the 22nd Sunday Sketch over on the PaperWorks Co blog. They have a new sketch every Sunday so be sure to play along!

Stamp – PWCO Zoie the Zebra

Rhinestones – Basic Grey Bling It Purple

Ribbon, Flowers, Brad, glitter embossing powder, versamark
