For this week, Sunshine's stamps challenged the DT to create a project with the same image as last week, but use paper piecing. I have to admit that I panicked, as I have only paper pieced once before, however I made the image bigger (the lovely thing about digi stamps) and decided to paper piece the ornaments and the holly leaves, but color the rest. I am quite pleased with how it all turned out in the end! It's hard to tell, but the pink and green papers that I used do have a swirled pattern in them, but it ended up being quite subtle, so I think if I try this technique again, I'll go with more obvious pattern in my papers. I also inked the sentiment with Close To My Heart Baby Pink.

Hiya. What a gorgeous card. Love the image so beautifully done. I am a lover of making digi images bigger so that they can be seen and I think they are more effective and striking. It really is gorgeous, I love it.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Another lovely card. I like how you were able to really stretch that image out so it is bigger than the standard "main image" and turns into a total focal point.
Pretty!
