Happy 3rd BDay PWCO!!!

To celebrate PaperWorks 3rd birthday, we're playing a little game with the past and present members of the design team.

There are 3 chances to win a $33.00 gift certificate to the store, so make sure you play along and grab the clues along the way!!

Here's a list of the rules to play:

We’ve round up the whole dt and alumni’s to help us out for the next two weeks.

each day, we will announce on this post the line up for the day. The links with take you to the member’s personal blog, and they will display a project with their favorite PWCO stamp.

AS WELL… you’ll get to go on a little treasure hunt! For each day that a dt or alumni members project gets posted, they will also post a little snippet of a fellow member’s project. Then it’s your job, to hop around the blog links below to match up the little snippets with the full sized projects of each member. By the end of the two weeks, all projects will be revealed and all snippets can be matched accordingly.

Once you match all mystery sneaks to the project owner, and you can have a chance to win $33 Gift Certificate to PWCO … There will be a 3 prizes of $33,…. (get it, 3rd bday, 3 prizes, $33 gift card?) lol

Simply match the sneaks and get enter to win! all you have to do is:

  1. come back to the blog everyday to check out who is debuting,
  2. leave a comment (just to show some love),
  3. and take note on the sneak they are showing…
  4. gather all the sneaks, and go back to everyone’s blog and figure out who they belong to..
  5. email peggy@paperworksco.com to submit the following:
  • the Day
  • the blog you went
  • the owner of the mystery sneak (and their blog address)
  • and a “yes” i’ve commented on each blog

eg:

  1. Day 1
  2. I went to Peggy’s blog
  3. She was hosting JANE DOE’s sneak peak, and her blog ad
    dy is stampingjanedoe@herblog.com
  4. and i’ve submitted a comment to everyone’s blog

and you do that for each day and submit the entire list to me at the end!

does that make sense?

And here's my clue......

    An Enchanted Evening

I created this card for the next challenge on the Paper Jewels blog and the theme is "an Evening Scene". The stamp I used is called "Misty Reflections" by Ching-Chou Kiuks. I coloured her with copics and the design paper I used is from a stash that my dad picked up for me at a garage sale. I thought it was so cute when he called me from this garage sale that he was at asking if I wanted him to buy some scrapbook paper for me. There were 178 sheets for $7.00. I figured for that price I couldn't go wrong and I was happy to find that there was a lot more good then bad in the pile. WTG Dad!! The paper I used in the Lilac Tilda card was also from that same stash :)

    Beary Blue

Hi everyone! Today is the 2nd Challenge in the PaperWorks Ultimate Summer Challenge and the teams participating are to create a card using the colours green, yellow, blue and red. This was the example I made and I used the adorable Rachelle Anne Miller stamp called "Beary Best of Friends" found only at PaperWorks Co. I cut the bear out and put him on these layers of cardstock shaped with my Fair Isle Spellbinders Die. The paper used is from Echo Park, which happens to be the paper featured in the PWCO August card kit, I'm really loving this months kit, it's so pretty :)

    Love is Gone

I have a new challenge posted on my Paper Jewels Blog and the challenge is to create a project using Ribbon & Flowers. This was the example card I made. The image is called "Love is Gone" and I coloured her with Copics. And I decided to play along with the ribbon and make it look more like a picture frame with it all ruffled around. The ribbon I bought from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

    Pretty Candy

My friend Colleen has started a new venture making and selling pretty hair clips! She's offering some blog candy on her blog, so if you have little girls, be sure to check it out :) Here's the link to her Etsy store, Daisies and Sunshine.

    Zach plays soccer

My son really loved playing soccer this year so I thought this guy would make a perfect card for him. I entered this into the F4A challenge this week on SCS. The point was to use your newest supplies, still unopened, so everything on this card was brand new still in the package, except the cardstock.

Sports Kids Stamps from PaperWorks and I decorated it with stickles and crystal effects to make it shine and sparkle.
