In fact, when my son saw this card he asked me to save it for his birthday, which isn't until March. Flanders Fields

Here's my Tuesday posting for Sunshine's Stamps. I went with one of their Sentiments this time. This is the Flanders Fields poem, which I'm sure you are all familiar with. I made this card for my grandfather who served in World War II for remembrance day. To make this card I used my Nesties, Dew Drops, Close to My Heart ink around the edges and ribbon. I also used this weeks sketch from Midnight Madness.

I made this Christmas card with one of PaperWorks new Christmas images. I used the sketch from StampTV and I coloured with Copics. I used Flower soft for the snow and I sponged the sky BG with CTMH Heavenly Blue.

Look at this cute Fire man bunny from Sunshine's Stamps! I made this card for my nephews birthday ans I incorporated this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch and the UCC #7 PaperWorks Challenge, to use scraps and recycled components.

And now I get to show off what I made with a couple of Sunshines newest images!

I was one of the lucky ones that got to play with these most adorable Candy Corn images called "Bite Me Candy Corn" and "Smiley Candy Corn" I think you can guess which one is which! I made this set for Tami's challenge to make a matching card and anything but a card. I thought these guys would work well for a shaped card and then I made matching little treat bags. I plan to fill them with candy and give them to my kids for Halloween.

Sunflower Spray

I had a lot of fun playing with this Sunshines Stamps image called "Sunflower Spray". I find it so pretty and I do love sunflowers! I thought I'd use the colours from StampTV's latest colour challenge to use blue, yellow and green. I thought I'd take the chance to play with some flower soft, which I use far to seldomly and I also used my new Nesties flourishes that I bought from www.paperworksco.com and I inked the edges with CTMH Outdoor denim ink.

Crafty Critter Challenge #10

I recently joined a group on SCS called Crafty Critters and they have the occasional challenge. For this challenge we had to make a fall card, use purple and follow this sketch SC246. My image and sentiment is from Sunshines Stamps . I also did "Distressing" for the Charisma Cardz challenge.

Emotibots Can

For Ildi Co's 3rd Creative Challenge, one of our October guest designers wanted to take a turn hosting. So Jennifer came up with the idea to challenge everyone buy requiring us to sew on our cards. I have never attempted this before, but I am quite pleased by how it turned out! I also used the sketch from the challenge over at PaperWorks blog HERE. Speaking of PaperWorks, I also used the DP for their card kit packages, they have a different kit every month and they come with enough supplies for at least 10 cards!

I used one of Ildi Co's new Emotibots images. This one is called "Emotibots Can"

Here's my Tuesday Sunshine post and my 2nd post this morning. I used Racy Randyne and made a cute birthday card. Check out Sunshines Stamps Store for more images like this one. I also made this into a kickstand card for the potluck Friday challenge over on StampTV.

Canadian Thanksgiving

This is the card I made for my parents for Thanksgiving yesterday. They hosted a great big family meal at their place and we all went home (or should I say, rolled home) stuffed and happy.
I used the Pumpkin Harvest embossed Cuttlebug Folder for both the brown and the Orange cardstock layers. The image is a digital stamp from CC Designs. I entered this card into the Stamp Something challenge that required Brown plus another colour and the Crazy 4 Challenges that asked for a Thankful card.

Ballerina Bunny

Here's my Sunday posting for Sunshine's Stamps. I saw this Ballerina Bunny and new I had to play with her! The sentiment is also from Sunshine. I figured this would make a good card for a dance teacher or student to help encourage them to keep up the good work! My kids dance teacher is such an upbeat person that her attitude really does make a big difference. I modeled this card after this weeks StampTV sketch.
